Adoptable pets from the Kansas Humane Society!
Athena, a 1-year-old Staffordshire Terrier mix, is very friendly and may be one of the sweetest dogs you will ever meet. She adores being petted and just laying her head in your lap. She's patiently looking for her forever home, but while she waits she’s spending her time lounging around and making visits to nursing homes. She absolutely loved going to the nursing home and really liked all the attention she got.



BJ, a 6-year-old Terrier mix, is an intelligent girl looking for a new family to be apart of. BJ loves children, is already housetrained and knows sit, stay and come. She may be a little shy at first, but once she warms up to you she will be your new best friend. She’s currently in foster care but is still looking for her forever home.



Squeak, a 3-month-old Domestic Short hair, loves to take long naps and promises to make a great cuddle buddy. She very friendly would enjoy being in a home with other feline friends.



Oreo, a 4-year-old Rabbit-Dutch, is very well-educated. She has lived in an elementary classroom the last few years and loves to be around children.



Bear, an 8-month-old Shepherd mix, is a big bundle of fun and energy. He is very active and has a enough personality to keep up with the entire family.



Lady, an 11-month-old Labrador Retriever PureBred, is a little shy, but very sweet and is looking for a forever home with good lap to lie in. She’s also great with other dogs and cats.



Doodles, an 8-month-old Domestic Short Hair, would love a home for the holidays. This gorgeous young cat loves to play and promises to keep you entertained. He is a great example of many young felines at KHS.



Cyrus, a 9-month-old Lab Mix, walks well with a leash. He’s a super nice dog and would make a great companion for someone who likes to get out and walk every day.



Dusty, a 1-year and 6-month old Shepherd Mix, is very a smart cookie. He knows sit, down and stay. He’s had a long stay at the shelter and is also a part of the lonely hearts club.
